Each person has a unique starting point as well as different desired outcomes in their healing journey. To help you achieve your goals, we require new students to complete a Body Map Assessment (BMA.) This is a 30 minute in-person assessment examining your mobility, balance and strength. After your BMA, we offer a treatment plan often as a combination of bodywork, private yoga sessions, and small group classes. Receive a discount code for a free BMA by signing up for our newsletter!

Classes will officially begin on September 5th 2024

Current Yoga Schedule

Step 1: Sign Up for a BMA

Once you’ve scheduled your Body Map Assessment, you’ll receive an email asking you to complete a Health Intake Form and a Consent Form. Remember to sign up for our newsletter first to receive a promo code for the entire cost of a BMA!

Step 2: Receive your BMA

Attend your private 30 minute assessment. Afterwards, we’ll provide our recommended Vital Movement Plan and you’ll be able to attend group classes.

Step 3: Sign up for classes

Select classes that align with your Vital Movement Plan or try all of them!

Please note: We are not a “Drop In” studio. We limit classes to 10 people to ensure that each student receives personal attention and adjustments each class. As such, we require students to sign-up before class to reserve your spot. If you show up to the studio without pre-registering you may be turned away due to lack of space!

Our payment and cancellation/no-show policies are the same for all our services and classes. Learn more about our policies here.

No matter your flexibility, strength or ability to balance; no matter if you’ve never “stretched” or practiced yoga. Therapeutic Yoga isn’t about asking you to conform to the teachers expectation. It is meant to meet you at your personal level, as you are right now. Our classes are specifically for those who feel challenged by typical “yoga studio” classes. If you’re recovering from injury or surgery, have limits to your mobility or just want a more hand-on connection, our classes are for you.

Our yoga classes are crafted around “body zones” and we teach movements and postures that address common complaints for these areas. While our classes may touch on other supporting structures in the body, we focus primarily on the body parts listed for each session. We teach the following separate classes: Feet/Legs, Pelvis/Psoas/Low Back, and Neck/Shoulders/Arms. When you attend a class at Vital Movement Collective, you know your target areas will be the focus.

Small group classes provide students with a tailored, hands-on experience. With only ten students per session, each person receives hands-on adjustments and postural suggestions every class. Detailed modifications can be offered to ensure each pose provides you the most benefit.
